He is risen!
Happy Easter Fullerton! What a wonderful time to serve our risen savior!
It has been a tumultuous time this past year, but as Christians we have a hope that others don’t have! A God that is alive and well and still in charge. In the struggles we are facing in our country right now, or in the world for that matter, don’t loose sight of whose you are!
Paul reminds us in his letter to the Corinthians to remember the good news of the Gospel.
“Now, brothers and sisters, I want to remind you of the gospel I preached to you, which you received and on which you have taken your stand. By this gospel you are saved, if you hold firmly to the word I preached to you. Otherwise, you have believed in vain.
For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures, and that he appeared to Cephas, and then to the Twelve. After that, he appeared to more than five hundred of the brothers and sisters at the same time, most of whom are still living, though some have fallen asleep.”
The New International Version. (2011). (1 Co 15:1–6). Grand Rapids, MI: Zondervan.
What greater hope is there than to know that Jesus was not held in the grave and we will join Him one day. Having that hope can give us joy in our hearts no matter what the circumstances that surround us. It gives us strength to face the difficulties of our day.
This Easter season, my hope and prayer is for all of you. That you will find in your heart the joy of knowing Jesus. If you know Him, celebrate His resurrection with us and with all of His Church! Remember as Paul has reminded us.
If you want to know Him, contact us and we will be more than happy to take time to introduce you to Him. Talk to someone you know that knows Jesus. I’m sure they would be thrilled to introduce you to Him. He’s a life giver and a life changer!
He is risen indeed!
